You read the poem:
Normally, as if following the numbers on the left.
-AND-
The other way, which is reading the first line of the first stanza then of the second stanza, then the second lines of each stanza and so on, as if following the numbers on the right.
-ALSO-
The poem can have multiple four (to six) line stanzas that can be read both ways (like two of the example, if your poem is longer). Or you can alter the form a bit keeping it similar to mine, be sure to explain it if you do change it!
Submitting (OPTIONAL) Send me a note to say you're entering so I can get excited. You will be added to the Entrants list (at top).
Write your submission. Please include a link to my news article or journal in your description.
Write me a
note linking your entry. I will favorite it in my Contest folder for others to see. It will also be listed under Submissions (at top).
I recommend deviant watching me or checking in on this journal for any updates or news.
Winners will be announced January 9, 2009 (may be extended).
Entries per deviant: unlimited (the more the merrier!)
DeadlineDecember 31, 2009, 11:59 PM (whatever time zone you're in). May be extended. If you want an extension personally, just note me. I'm being lenient with the deadline.
